【摘要】:TheuseofthebodymeasurementinformationinTables1-6willassistmanufacturersindevelopingpatternsandgarmentsthatareconsistentwiththecurrentanthropometriccharacteristicsofthepopulationofinterest.Thispracticeshouldinturnreduceorminimizeconsumerconfusionanddissatisfactionrelatedtoapparelsizing.(AlsorefertoISO3635SizeDesignationProcedures.)1.1Thesetableslistbodymeasurementsofgirlssizes.Althoughthesearebodymeasurements,theycanbeusedasabaselineindesigningapparelforgirlsinthissizerangewhenconsideringsuchfactorsasfabrictype,easeforbodymovement,styling,andfit.1.2ThemaximumagefortheGirlx2019;schartis12x00BD;yearsoldtothesize20.1.3Thesizetableincludestherangeoftoddlersizes,thesevaluesareforbothgirlx2019;sx0026;boyx2019;sandwillbeincludedintheboyx2019;sstandardaswell.1.4ThesetableslistbodymeasurementsforthecompleterangeofGirlssizing.Slimsubjectsareofsamestature(height),withaslimmerbody,andlowerbodyweightthanregularsubjectsasillustratedbythemeasurementcharts.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitheracceptableSIunitsorinch-poundunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
